2007 HILDA User Training, 18 July

The slides from the HILDA Data User Training session held on 18 July 2007 are available below.

Session 1: Overview of the sample design, datasets, conventions, documentation, how to create your own datasets, and a demonstration of PanelWhiz.

Session 2A: Focus on the more complicated derived variables, such as family, income, wealth and history variables.

Session 2B: Focus on weighting and imputation.

Session 3A: How to calculate standard errors from a complex sample such as HILDA.

Session 3B: Practical Lab Session with some simple examples of using panel data.
