MABEL Data Users Workshop, Thursday 5 May 2016
The half-day MABEL Data Users Workshop will be held on Thursday 5 May from 1:30pm - 5:00pm at the Melbourne Institute at 111 Barry Street, Carlton.
Who should come to the workshop? Researchers and data analysts from Universities, governments, health sector, medical colleges and organisations, who are thinking of using MABEL data.
What will you learn? Participants will be provided with an overview of the data and MABEL survey, including information about survey content, sampling, data management and quality, response rates, and how best to access the data. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, and find out whether their research questions can be answered using the data. The workshop will be similar to previous workshops.
MABEL Research Forum, Friday 6 May 2016
The one-day MABEL Research Forum will be held on Friday 6 May 2016 from 9:00am - 4:00pm at the Melbourne Business School at 200 Leicester Street, Carlton.
The 4th MABEL Research Forum will examine how doctors' working lives can be influenced by the broader health care system and will explore how external forces, shortages or surpluses, training requirements and changes in funding and incentives, shape and influence the decisions doctors make in their working lives.
