Ms Ha Vu Thi Hong
Ha Vu joined the Melbourne Institute in January 2003 and since has been working in theLabour Economics and Social Policy area. She obtained her Bachelor of Economics from the University of Newcastle in 2001 and her Honours Degree in Economics from the Australian National University in 2002. Ha is completing her PhD in Economics at the University of Melbourne. Her PhD research focuses on the effects of labour market conditions on income support participation and the extent of persistence in income support participation in Australia. Ha’s current research interests include labour economics, welfare economics, social policy reforms, development economics, education, and behavioral economics.
