Rosanna is a Senior Research Fellow with the Melbourne Institute of Applied Economic and Social Research.

Initially joining the Melbourne Institute in 1996 as a Kinsman Scholar, Rosanna was employed full time from 1997 to 2004 while completing her PhD. In 2005 she joined the Brotherhood of St Laurence as an Economist in Social Action Research. In 2007 she was appointed the Ronald Henderson Research Fellow, a position jointly funded by the Melbourne Institute and the Brotherhood of St Laurence.

Rosanna's research interests include labour economics, tax and public finance, inequality, poverty and social welfare.
