Mark joined the Melbourne Institute of Applied Economic and Social Research in November 2006 as a Research Officer within the Labour Economics and Social Policy area. Currently, he is also enrolled in the PhD program with the Melbourne Institute and Department of Economics.

Prior to joining the Melbourne Institute, Mark was a Research Assistant at the New Zealand Treasury and he graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Economics and Finance from Lincoln University in 2006.
