Melbourne Institute Survey of Consumer Inflationary Expectations

The measure of consumer inflationary expectations captures the average householder's expected rate of consumer price changes over the coming twelve months.

The Melbourne Institute Survey of Consumer Inflationary Expectations produces a direct measure of inflationary expectations as consumers are asked whether, and by how much, they believe prices will go up or down. This report is produced monthly.
